FanMedia launches the
City Fan Singapore for Pocket PC
Singapore (December 16, 2005)
FanMedia today announced the beta launch of the City
Fan Singapore travel guide for Pocket PCs.
This Macromedia Flash application has the same information
as the print version of the guide, including all maps.
The guide is divided into 6 main chapters, each with
a unique colour: Introduction, Sights, Activities, Shopping,
Food, and Entertainment.
Each chapter is divided up in a number of categories
and each category has several recommendations. Each
of those recommendations has a unique colour-coded number,
which are also listed on the guide’s maps, making
venues easy to locate.
In addition to the recommendations, there are 9 maps
as well as a street index and a hotel index.
The City Fan Singapore for Pocket PC can be downloaded
for free until the end of January 2006. You can also
test the application on our website; just use your mouse
to navigate through the application. You can test and

A version of the City Fan Singapore for Flash-enabled
mobile phones is expected to be released by early February
2006.
